Q. For me it's possible to know that our #searx instance https://openworlds.info/ doesn't do any tracking and doesn't even log ips because I set it up (thanks to XXX). For you it boils down to either trusting me (or DDG etc.) that it does not track 😀
A. To build trust we have the #4opens in action, the changes sysadmins make are self documented here https://github.com/Openmedianetwork in this case on the search project wiki
We have a global pool of admins who have logins to each others servers to help/check work. ie. I made some changes come and have a look and tell me what you think. They might just look at the idea, might look at the code then add feed back to the wiki. This is all voluntary - but if its missing the trust is lossy.
A. Create a page on the wiki and add the no IP server login and any other config you think is inportent :)
