Visionontv (OMN) is currently running 5 servers and hosting 14 websites.
https://campaign.openworlds.info Campaign - Mastodon OVH VPS £5/10 a month – this will be £10 when we get first small batch of active users, then grow to £50 a month as users come on-board.
https://activism.openworlds.info Activism – Mastodon OVH VPS £5/10 a month – this will be £10 when we get first small batch of active users, then grow to £50 a month.
http://omn.openworlds.info/ OMN (news) - currently running on a 1 year Amazon free server but this needs to be moved to a pay server to scale over the summer as we roll out new users. There are different models to scale this we have to look at. We should roll out more OMN servers, we can start free in each case but will have use pay servers if use grows. Thinking about “Africa”, “campaign” to start, we can cover any subject.
https://openworlds.info/ Search – OVH VPS £6 a month this will jump to £12 then £24 over the summer as use increases.
Visionontv – OVH £76 a month this is semi-stable and needs to be retired and the projects running on it moved to new servers ASAP. We run more than10 web sites on this server.
http://visionon.tv (splash page with active video, some traffic, good links and search) this will move to a peertube server install https://framablenglish.wordpress.com/2017/12/18/framatube-federation-and-design-of-peertube/ the server side cost of this is still not clear though a large part of the data storage can be offloaded to volunteer home seedboxes – these will not cost money but will instead cost time to find/support/spread.
http://hamishcampbell.com (working with medium traffic, good links and search) need to keep this online as it holds an archive of the thinking behind the projects.
http://springofcode.org (static) if we can find crew we can reboot this
http://richardhering.com (low traffic) am assuming Richard wants this.
http://fund.openworlds.info (static) we need to reboot this as its the clearing house for gray money from advertising on 3rd party videos this money may end up growing again for a time as the rest of the projects take off.
http://blog.openworlds.info (working with low traffic) being replaced by OMN
