The #OMN project is about mediating the open/closed tension by NOT MAKING a hard decision on eather side but instated building out tools/infrastructure/process that bridges this divide. By keeping the stress in place we can build #openweb tools for social change. If we narrow this “choice” by choosing one side of this stress we minermise the impact of our work we end by BLOCKING the energy needed for social transformation. ONLY by giving up out “narrow” and directing “desire” for control we can hope to exist in an “anarchist” moments/reality for any time and start to build a different world.

The #geekproblem is inward looking and tends to blindness/deafness.

The #fahernistas are a #mainstreaming closing of paths.

The #dotcons have no agency being closed dressed as open.

The #deathcult is the closesing of life and the embracein of fear as social control.

The #openweb can be on the side of “open” pushing the balance against “closed”.

#stupidindividualism is the worship of the #deathcult as is #mainstreaming #encryptionsists thinking as it mostly “unconsciously” pushes #mainstreaming closed agenders agenst balancing of #openweb working.

The #4opens are a foundation for the “open” side of this balance and are a strong “non” decision on things that matter to keep the stress in place.

The #OMN is a tool for keeping the open/closed debate alive and building this into a health core of social change.

We are slow on the #indymediaback test roll-out as we don't have the resources to support fast motion.

  • we don't have coding resources to do the fast updating of code for userbilerty for real world use.
  • we dont have a strong core coding group.
  • we have basic server infrastructure in place, but for a faster roll-out we would need scaling sysadmin crew which we currently do not have.
  • we need to look at the “big” #4opens ideas of the #OMN for long term.
  • #UX needs long term planing, we are fine with the current #KISS approach for now.
  • we need a way of mediating the open/closed invisible war that plays out in the #geekproblem view.
