R. Hamish, please don't let the payment deadline pass (it's 18.40 this evening). I don't want to blow everything up by contacting the Rowntrees, but rest assured I most certainly will.

H. You cannot expect money to come in and out with out covering expenses. I did wright that on the last email. Meetup went well the next one is being booked for the 6th at modzila with them sponsoring it. The OMN has a new host and talking to geeks about doing a plugin to feed news into the mastodon network.

R. That's all great. I made it very clear that you cannot charge 170 pounds for clearing a cheque. That decision is also not in your hands. after this evening the entire company will no longer be in your hands, unless you can see your way to simply transferring the money.

H. Can we leave this historic crap in the past please, just cover some expenses. It's £600-800 this year with NO money in the budget to cover it. Am putting in a funding app for 5k to lush that should raise the remaining. Good to get this sougted.

R. But that's a bloody process I do not wish to do. i'm sure there's a way of resolving the issues without it. I would suggest meeting between you men and D when she is next in London. But if the money is not transferred, I will have no choice but the nuclear option.

H. Richard the is only the TEC fund left. This is being spent on tech will keep you in the loop very openprocess on this #4opens Thank.

R. Because of this un-consensed charge, as you know, I will not be putting any more funding through visionOntv. the unfortunate case here is that I made a funding application before you took illegitimate control of the company account, and then it came through with visionontv's name on iit. As it was a simple in-out I chose not to go back to the funders for a different cheque, as that looks bad. But I most certinaly would if I had known that this reduction was to be made.

H. Q. How were we to pay the basic running costs this year of visionontv?

R. that's an important subject for an AGM or other company meeting. Esp losing the adsense. But is not to be taken from a piddly fund for which the money is already budgeted for. As this is the last time this will happen, I can't see why it makes any difference. But I will go to the shareholders at 18.40 Right now you are (potentially) drawing on funds only you have control over, with no consent from anybody else.

H. I will leave that to your consunce. Am going to try and organize a AGM with the funders before I go away in the summer. 4opens

R. I'm prepared to be relaxed about that and assume everything is being done in a right and proper way, as an act of good faith. but if you want this to blow up over 170 pounds then just sit on your hands until 18.40 I'm about to be 4opens with the shareholders.

H. You can have a look at the accounts if you like. Will be posting them when I get the liberpay and patrion accounts online with the mastodon instances. Hard at work here, hopefully with a good outcome.

R. Do not doubt that I mean what I say.

H. Anyway. More info coming soon at the moment it's on the github site

R. I really don't think you realise the gravity of the situation Why are you talking about something unrelated? OK enough - i will check the account at 6.30 and then I will describe what is clearly an emergency situation to the other shareholders I don't think you have any idea how furious D and I are about this H. Q. How is the basic running costs of the project to be cover this year. Am just soughting this out.

R. THat's a question for a meeting - a meeting I cannot with you while you are in sole, aboslute control of the finances.

H. The general budget is empty - what is your plan for this year.

R. What we can have is a pre-meeting, laying out the conditions for setting the company 's affairs straight. But that option is blown out of the water at 18.40 I don't have a plan while I have no stake. It seems to me there are quite a lot of options. But I am not able to discuss any of them while you have taken for yourself absolute control. I have no knowledge of what is going on, and quite honestly, for legal reasons, I need to have no knowledge. I'm prepared to pull back, and solve visionOntv's problems in a more measured, but not if you don't just pay over this small grant. I think this can be done amicably, but without your cooperation over this matter, I am ballistic

H. Am happy to have a meeting to discuss this BUT the money to keep the company alive has to be sougted this year. Would be good if you can bring a plan for the meeting.

R. I'm very happy to have a meeting too. Let's get the small matter of the fund I passed through votv sorted, and I'm happy to talk about anything, If not, not, and it becomes a purely legal matter. Simple: 171 pounds transferred, and we move on with a modicum of good will, and can ask the questions - what now for visionOntv? etc OR money not transferred, and I wash my hands of the whole thing, and merely look to the shareholders' interests. Couldn't be simpler. OK little man woke up. I'm back at 6.30

H. You agree that this situation clearly cannot carry on? Funds for external projects should contribute for companies running costs? We cannot keep subsidising external projects as money has run out. How do you propose to cover this year's expenses?

R. I am not in a position to discuss anything related to the company, as you are in sole control of its finances. You do understand that I'm not going to discuss this in the next two hours, don't you?

H. Let's arrange a meeting for next week to go over the accounts.

I would be delighted to do that, but the remainder of the lipman miliband money must be paid by 18.40. 18.40 goes past, and all meetings are cancelled.

H. Am organising an AGM with the funders.

R. OK that doesn't stop my report We've got a few minutes so I will say a few things because after 18.40 I can't talk to you for legal reasons. The only thing on my conscience is that I didn't do this when I first knew about your theft of the account. My excuse is that I thought it would be resolvable amicably. I'm personally very sorry it has come down to this. I should warn you that I've been dealing with lawyers a lot recently, and if you misreport anything about me which is defamatory, I will sue. I will check my account one more time, because, you knnow,"pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will." Some information for you to ponder before shutdown: there is never a 10% contingency for company expenses in grant funding, which is why I never agreed to it. Even when I had six-figure budgets from Channel Four, they refused to pay such expenses. OK letter ready to go (little man delayed me). Do we have a way back from this? I wait for ten minutes.
