We are planning to roll out 3 more #openweb projects over this year to run alongside/replace @youtube @meetup @facebook all of them federated based on activitypub so they will all talk to each other.
The OMN which has been running for the last year, will grow to be the federated "news" hubs using the same standards.
Visionontv will continue inside the #dotcon's and will copy all its video content onto the #openweb and make it available to push out this project https://github.com/Chocobozzz/PeerTube/wiki which talks the same standard to other parts.
All the projects are #4open to help reboot the openweb. Activitypub is the new eco-system of the openweb to compete with the closed google, apple and facebook ecosystems.
Exciting times.
