We have a long running project to bring alt-groups in to the fediverse via RSS bot accounts, where the groups are free to take over the accounts and use them at any time themselves.

Keep meaning to message the groups that have some followers; for example these guys Corporate Watch.

Need someone to contact them and do some hand holding with the hand over if somebody is intrested .

Dear <name/org/affectation>,

We are a group in the process of rebooting a movement of independent media reporting; something we are perhaps in more need of now than ever before.

It is an attempt to foster trust in organisations who are putting the effort into reporting our reality, and not simply opinions and agendas.

One of our approaches is to support federated alternatives to mis-/dis-/informational silo's such as Failbook and Tw*tter; with our core fields being Campaigning and Activism.
As such, part of our footprint are two networks within the Mastodon/ActivityPub federation, for Campaigners and Activists.

We took the liberty some time ago to forward your presence on the internet (in the form of your RSS feed) into the federated network.
You can find it here, openly marked as an unofficial "bot": CorporateWatch.

The ideal situation for us would be if you guys took over the account, such that you can simply use it as another part of your own outreach. We are contacting you now as the account has already accumulated some followers.

You are free to either make the bot "official" and we can leave it running, utilising your exisiting RSS feed, and/or you are free to take over and use it as you see fit.

The federated web is a big step in regaining the freedom and resilience of what used to be a more independent internet, and independent media too.
