AFAIK EngageMedia was started by a bunch of geeks who used to be involved with Sydney Indymedia and Catalyst (the creators of Active, not the kiwi tech company). They run an activist video site at EngageMedia.org, powered by an open source package they developed, called Plumi. It would be good to get in contact with them and see if they're keen to work with OMN, and particularly the visionOntv project.
