It often takes a long time until the search results appear, I think it's mostly due to engines that are slow or timeout (timeout is currently at 2s). Maybe we could drop some engines and add others that are faster?

I often notice timeouts with: startpage, wikidata

so I found that wireless on my notebook had packet loss and much of the delay came from that it seems. I had to switch to the wl driver, now it's much better.
